Inside the temple of Pray Land — an inverted olive tree above a still pool

PRAY LAND

The Earth Remembers

& The Prayer Returns.

An ancient stone doorway, arched, moonlit, opening into darkness

Before every return,
there is a door that asks who you are.

The inverted olive tree at the heart of the temple — roots toward the sky, branches toward the congregation

What was taken from the earth
continues to grow toward the light.

A single oil-lamp flame burning in a dark stone chamber

Not everything survives the flame.
Only what is true.

A shaft of warm light descending into a pale empty space

Some truths are heard.
Others arrive as light.

A dark inner chamber — water pouring from a spout below a tree-of-life relief

The water remembers
what the rain has forgotten.

Carry the Whisper

Take nothing from this place
except the responsibility to carry it.

The temple is still being built.
